Julia Saner for Mulberry

Juli 8th, 2011 — 7:36am

The Autumn campaign of Mulberry is fantastic. The colours, the knits, the bags – it actually makes you long for the colder season, which is strange.
Except the dead animals everything of this shooting makes me think “aaaaah perfect”. Looks like Mulberry is the next big thing.

And our model darling Julia plays a major role.

So, of course all Swissies has to love this shoot! Enjoy the pics… Continue reading »

The beauty of roadtrips

Juni 26th, 2011 — 6:48pm

My boyfriend learns how to drive. That makes us going on roadtrips every now and then. You never imagine what magic places you discover by just go and drive in a direction. This is one of the places we discovered in Zurich: Regensberg (engl. rain mountain). A sad name for such a beautiful little place. It’s a small village/town with its own castle. The houses looked like there were living elfes or other magic creatures. I already imagined our next Sasani-Shooting there. Continue reading »

The diva and the stripes

Mai 15th, 2011 — 10:38pm

Although my sister is a very natural girl, she sometimes can act like a little diva (like we all do). This look is perfect for little divas. It’s eye-catching and extravagant yet modern and fresh. These pictures are the last of our mini shooting. I like these pics the most. Because of the colour combination, the poses of my sister and the light. The outfit reminds me a bit of what Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl likes to wear. Especially the green coat..

It was the first outfit we shooted. But as you can see Oriana striked the poses from the begin like a prof. Thaaaank you, sis! Continue reading »

the lace fairy

April 27th, 2011 — 9:02am

May is usually one of the most romantic month in the year. It’s the month of eternal love and wedding (so chliché). It’s the month when nature is starting to burst in bloom.

To get us in the right mood for this month I thought the following outfit is just the right choice. It’s summery, natural and romantic yet with the bright coral colour of the top absolutely en vogue. Within the scene of the forest Oriana looks like a fairy. Continue reading »

The tricky denimdress

April 23rd, 2011 — 9:16am

To say “my sister is beautiful”  always sounds a bit vain to me, because most of the time sisters resembles each other a lot. But I do think my sister Oriana is beautiful and I can say that without give a hidden compliment to myself. My sister and I don’t resemble each other a lot, except the fact that we’re both half Asian, half Swiss and look younger than we are (good genes, yeah!). And that’s very often the reason why we get taken for one another here in Switzerland. “Asians all look the same!” was a sentence we heard too often. The funny fact is that Asians think the same about Europeans. Continue reading »

Sun, dreamy clothes and beach

April 13th, 2011 — 2:47pm

I found this beautiful editorial a while ago. And I immediately start to daydream when looking at it. This is maybe because of the lack of holidays I currently suffer from. And the bad thing is that until the end of this year I won’t be able to get me a dose of sun, fun and nothing to do. Continue reading »

It’s been a while…

April 12th, 2011 — 12:22am

The weather is just too great to sit in front of the computer and blog. Ok, you’re right, I’m only looking for a good reason why I have been so lazy in posting lately. But I am back! For good? I hope so!

It was another absolutely amazing weekend in Switzerland, and I can’t believe it’s only April. It feels like June! And I love it. Most of the things make more fun when the sun is shining. Like for example shopping at the fleamarket. Saturday afternoon I went to Zurich’s most colourful fleamarket (Kanzlei Flohmarkt). Continue reading »

Obsessed with flares

März 29th, 2011 — 11:35pm

Although every fashionista in the world wears them it seems like the trend of flares have not yet landed here. I’m desperately seeking flares. Though I have to admit that I was not yet in many shops in good old Switzerland. For once I guess I have to make my way out of my flat and shop in real life in real shops. During the busy time that lies behind me I have developed into an exclusively online shopper.

I just love this freedom of shopping at any day or night time, of trying clothes on at home and not have to queue for the changing rooms and again stand in line to pay. But pants, even worse flare pants, I really need to try them on and I don’t want to order 5 pants at home and end up returning all 5 again. Continue reading »

How Spaghetti Vongole saved my week

März 21st, 2011 — 12:58am

Last week my boyfriend went to Holidays and I was home alone. First it sucked, especially on Sunday. I realised how this day is a totally couple’s day. Then the first few days I didn’t have any ideas what to cook in the evening because cooking for one isn’t that fun. On Wednesday I suddenly realised that my boyfriend hates a lot of food I absolutely love to eat, for example nearly any kind of seafood. I decided to cook Spaghetti Vongole for myself. And suddenly I started to love cooking for my own again as I did in my single years. Here is the result of my Wednesday dinner for one. Continue reading »
